LIS Coordinator: 40 Hours Per Week (AM)

We are one of the largest integrated laboratory networks serving hospitals in the Midwest region. Our network includes 32 hospitals and multiple physician offices.

This individual maintains and supports the daily operation of the LIS and serves as backup for maintenance and support of all outreach software. This individual is responsible for implementation, validation, support & maintenance activities of the Laboratory Information System (LIS); maintenance and validation of the Hospital Information System (HIS) for the Sisters of St. Francis (SSFHS) hospitals and associated outpatient and other service centers; support, maintenance, and validation activities for partner and patron sites; development and maintenance of procedures and documentation required for regulatory agencies; and serves as backup for implementation, validation, support & maintenance activities of outreach software systems at the Core Lab. Travel to remote facilities is required. This individual shall maintain a healing environment for employees and patients with a spirit of caring and concern as incorporated in the philosophy of our Catholic healthcare systems while performing all job functions

Bachelor's degree in medical / clinical sciences or information systems required.

Two (2) years relevant clinical laboratory or information services experience required.
