Job Summary
As a Document Coordinator at AmeriPharma, you will be responsible for clerical tasks within the patient care department, ensuring compliance with all patient documentation. The role requires attention to detail and strong communication skills to maintain accurate patient records. You will report to the Patient Care Coordinator Supervisor.
Schedule Details
- Location: In-person (Laguna Hills, CA)
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving Welcome Packets and Patient Forms prior to delivery.
- Receive refill patient HIPAA renewals monthly, loan equipment logs, and Shipping Address Change Forms.
- Follow up on incomplete forms and ensure patient records are complete (e.g., annual HIPAA updates, Loan Agreement renewals).
- Communicate with patients via the Citus application to provide timely responses, excellent customer service, and ensure patients receive proper services and deliveries.
- Assist Patient Care Coordinators with communication between doctor’s offices and patients as needed.
- Support Patient Care Clerks with tasks related to refills, dose changes, and transfers, if applicable.
- Serve as a backup for PCCs when necessary.
- Handle assigned offices as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of related experience required.
