Responsibilities

  • Warehouse Operations
  • Support day-to-day operations at the Amgen Bulgaria warehouse
  • Help ensure proper storage, handling, and distribution of pharmaceutical products
  • Maintain accurate operational documentation and records
  • Compliance & Quality
  • Support compliance of daily operations with GDP, SOX, and applicable EU/local regulations
  • Maintain documentation to support GDP compliance and inspection readiness
  • Assist during regulatory inspections and internal audits
  • Gain exposure to pharmaceutical quality and compliance processes while supporting the Responsible Person (RP) function where appropriate.
  • 3PL & Distribution Management
  • Partner with logistics providers and internal teams to help ensure medicines reach patients efficiently and on time.
  • Work closely with customer service and logistics partners to help ensure timely deliveries
  • Projects & Continuous Improvement
  • Contribute to projects that improve supply chain performance and enhance patient experience.
  • Support implementation of operational best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a dynamic supply chain environment.
  • Curiosity, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn are just as important as previous experience.

  • Exposure to supply chain, logistics, warehousing, or customer service activities.
  • Basic understanding of GDP/GMP or pharmaceutical regulations.
  • Experience working in an international or cross-functional environment.
  • Pharmacist degree or interest in pharmaceutical distribution and compliance.
  • Experience with third-party logistics providers or distribution operations is a plus.
  • Digital literacy and ability to leverage modern productivity tools, including AI-enabled solutions, to support analysis, process improvement, and day-to-day operations.
