We will give you the opportunity to gain experience in a vibrant multinational Bio-Pharmaceutical company in the heart of Copenhagen. Our research is passionate about groundbreaking technology for early drug discovery.

We are looking for a student worker to support several steps of research workflow at Amgen Research Copenhagen, and other logistics tasks. The main responsibilities include:

  • Compound registration, management and maintenance of Amgen’s large sample bank
  • Making stock solutions, buffers, HPLC solvents, weighing compounds, preparing aliquots, etc.
  • Handling packages containing dry ice and contact with the delivery service
  • Supporting Compound Management with QC analysis
  • Other daily laboratory tasks as well as occasional support of the reception

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for the Student Worker position at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or starting a Master’s) degree in Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences or related field in a Danish university
  • Good knowledge of verbal and written English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passionate about research and pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience evolving in a laboratory
  • Thorough time-management skills
  • Strong work-ethic
