The Production Specialist is responsible for managing and monitoring all aspects of the assigned product categories ensuring that quality, timing, and cost objectives are achieved in line with brand standards. Acting as a key liaison between Product Development, Merchandising, and external suppliers, this role ensures that each collection is produced efficiently, accurately, and in full alignment with creative and commercial goals.
Responsibilities

- Oversee and coordinate the full production cycle for assigned product categories, from order confirmation to final delivery.
- Monitor production progress to ensure adherence to lead times and seasonal delivery schedules.
- Maintain daily communication with suppliers to track status, solve issues, and ensure quality and timing compliance.
- Oversee the development of size grading for all the assigned product categories, ensuring accuracy and consistency across sizes and categories.
- Supervise suppliers during the grading process, validating measurements and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Communicate any size or fit adjustments to the internal Merchandising, Development, and Design teams, ensuring full alignment before bulk production.
- Collaborate with the Technical and Quality teams to guarantee that graded garments meet brand fit and proportion standards.
- Communicate any technical or measurement changes to the Product Development, Merchandising, and Design teams, ensuring full alignment before bulk.
- Oversee approval of PPS/TOP samples, ensuring alignment between development and bulk production.
- Coordinate factory visits and quality checks during production and before shipment.
- Ensure all production aligns with the brand’s craftsmanship and finishing standards.
- Maintain accurate production records, timelines, and delivery schedules in PLM and ERP systems.
- Update production tracking sheets, highlighting any risks or delays.
- Support Production Manager with KPI reporting (deliveries, cost analysis, supplier performance).
- Partner closely with Product Development, Planning, Merchandising, and Logistics to guarantee smooth workflow across all production phases.
- Provide input during the pre-production stage to ensure manufacturability, size consistency, and cost alignment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes and efficiency.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Production, Textile Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fashion production (premium or luxury segment preferred).
- Strong technical understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and size grading.
- Proven experience managing external suppliers and production partners.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken).
- Proficient in PLM systems (Centric Preferred) , Excel, and ERP tools.
- Detail-oriented and technically precise
- Strong follow-up and multitasking ability
- Clear communicator and effective cross-functional collaborator

- Results-driven, with strong sense of ownership and accountability
