Founded in 1920, Hammond’s has been handcrafting iconic candies for over a century, using time-honored techniques, classic recipes, and a commitment to quality that generations have grown up loving. From ribbon candy and candy canes to toffee and caramels, Hammond’s Candies creates moments of joy through craftsmanship, nostalgia, and authenticity.

Responsibilities

  • Help drive store-level financial and operational results by monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and taking action to achieve store goals
  • Keep the team focused on guest engagement, storytelling, sampling, and sharing product knowledge rooted in Hammond’s history and craftsmanship
  • Maximize overall team performance through coaching, selling skills development, and leading by example
  • Assist in training, developing, and motivating team members
  • Support the Store Manager with paperwork, ordering, and inventory management
  • Maintain visual standards, merchandising excellence, and overall store cleanliness
  • Ensure all policies, procedures, and operational standards are consistently and effectively followed
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Hammond’s Candies inside and outside of the Factory Store
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with people
  • A passion for quality, organization, and attention to detail
  • A bias toward action and a willingness to roll up your sleeves
  • Ability to lift and move medium to large items (up to 75 lbs using proper safety techniques)
  • A desire to learn, grow, and be coached
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize throughout the day
  • A positive attitude and enthusiasm for creating great guest experiences
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak business times
