As a Warehouse Associate, you will handle, move/store, pack & ship batteries. You will be responsible for shipping orders, receiving inventory and keeping warehouse organized, clean, and clutter free. Duties will include loading and unloading shipments, recording shipment and inventory statuses, and making sure the deliveries properly match purchase orders.

Responsibilities

  • Read and follow shipping orders for order instructions and prepare the shipment.
  • Read and follow the shipping orders’ instructions for the type of transportation needed and prepare labels/documents.
  • Responsible for preparing shipments on-time and accurately.
  • Collect documentation for outbound freight. Record the shipping activity in the company database.
  • Contact carrier representatives to arrange and provide instructions for loading shipment.
  • Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Receiving duties will include unloading and unpacking shipments and checking the shipment received against the invoices.
  • Maintain an inventory count and ensure the database is updated in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an organized, clean and clutter-free Warehouse.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities.
  • Dangerous Goods/Hazardous handling

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience working in a warehouse setting.
  • Experience handling hazardous materials or dangerous goods - A MUST
  • Basic computer skills. Experience in record keeping, data entry, and stock management using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
  • Ability to operate equipment used in the warehouse, such as forklift, pallet jack, scanner, etc.
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Excellent dependability and attendance.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.

  • Fremont, CA: This is an on-site job. Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently reaching with hands and arms, standing and walking. Also, the ability to sit, squat, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, reach, lift, balance, push, and pull.

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to coordinate timely shipping of orders

Salary: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour. Base salary will be determined based on knowledge, experience, and education.
