A law firm client is seeking a Contract Senior Practice Lawyer (SPL) to support its Asset & Corporate Finance practice group in Charlotte. This team represents lenders, master servicers, and special servicers in commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) and commercial real estate finance matters.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience handling commercial real estate finance and/or financing transactions, with strong preference for experience involving CMBS loan servicing matters.

Responsibilities

→Advising on performing and non-performing CMBS loans
→Handling loan modifications, assumptions, and equity transfers
→Reviewing and negotiating consent requests
→Drafting demand letters and assisting with pre-default matters
→Supporting ongoing commercial real estate lending and servicing transactions

Requirements
