The Radiologic Technologist will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, C-Arm and trident scans in the OR
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
- Collaborate with medical staff in ambulatory surgery center settings to provide timely diagnostic evaluations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures.
- Ensure proper functioning of imaging equipment through routine checks and maintenance.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.
Requirements
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist with relevant state licensure.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology.
- Experience in ambulatory surgery and operating room settings is preferred.
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations efficiently while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
