AMT is seeking a Transportation Project Manager with 8-12 years’ experience for a position in our Towson, Maryland or Rockville, Maryland office. Position is also flexible to be in our Herndon, VA office but be willing and available to travel to Maryland offices for projects and meetings. The position is full-time, and AMT will provide the flexibility and necessary equipment to work from home 2 to 3 days per week, as agreed upon with the Transportation Group Leader.

· Have strong time management skills and the ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects

· Can identify and resolve project risks and design challenges

· Enjoy building and motivating teams

· Have strong written and oral communication skills

Professional Engineer (PE) in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington DC Required

8 to 12 years’ experience in roadway, highway, and traffic control plan preparation with past project management experience

Proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D

Strong written and oral communication skills

Leading multi-discipline teams to deliver transportation design projects, with a focus on multi-modal roadway projects

Serving as liaison between client and project team including external stakeholder agencies

Managing all technical resources on the project team including subconsultants
