General Laborer

Title: General Laborer

Location: Washington, DC | Maryland | Virginia

Pay: $18–$25/hour | Non-Exempt, Hourly

Overview:

Anchor Construction is seeking a dependable General Laborer to support construction projects including utilities, concrete, site development, and infrastructure work. This position supports daily jobsite operations while maintaining safety and productivity across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with jobsite setup, cleanup, and material handling
• Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, leveling, and mixing materials
• Support pipe installation, concrete work, and traffic control activities
• Follow OSHA and company safety standards
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Construction experience preferred
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor
• Availability for overtime, nights, and weekends as needed
• Ability to communicate in English; Spanish a plus
