If you're looking for more than a job and want the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of youth, this may be exactly what you've been looking for.

Many of the young people we serve have experienced trauma, adversity, instability, and challenges that no child should have to face alone.

They need adults who can provide:

  • Consistency
  • Accountability
  • Encouragement
  • Structure
  • Hope

As a Behavior Technician, you'll become part of a team that helps youth develop healthier behaviors, stronger coping skills, emotional regulation, and the confidence to succeed both inside and outside of treatment.

As a Behavior Technician, you will:

  • Build positive, therapeutic relationships with youth
  • Support individualized treatment goals and behavior plans
  • Coach youth through emotional, behavioral, and social challenges
  • Teach coping skills, problem-solving, and emotional regulation
  • Model appropriate communication, accountability, and healthy decision-making
  • Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment
  • Facilitate daily routines, recreational activities, and skill-building opportunities
  • Observe, document, and communicate behavioral progress
  • Respond calmly and professionally during moments of crisis
  • Partner with therapists, nurses, educators, and leadership teams to support youth success
  • Reinforce positive behaviors and celebrate growth milestones
  • Help young people develop the confidence and resilience needed for long-term success

At Anderson Health Services, we believe that young people are more than their diagnoses, behaviors, or past experiences.

We believe every youth deserves:

  • Love
  • Care
  • Kindness
  • Compassion

You'll be part of a team that leads with heart while maintaining the structure, consistency, and accountability necessary to help youth succeed. Our person-centered, trauma-informed approach focuses on strengths, not labels, and creates opportunities for healing, growth, and long-term success.

  • Competitive pay
  • Full-time and part-time opportunities
  • Paid orientation and training
  • Ongoing professional development
  • Career growth opportunities within behavioral health
  • Valuable experience for future counselors, psychologists, social workers, educators, nurses, criminal justice professionals, and healthcare leaders
  • A mission-driven workplace where your work has purpose
  • A supportive team environment committed to your success
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful difference every single day

  • Passionate about helping young people succeed
  • Calm, patient, and confident under pressure
  • Naturally supportive, encouraging, and relationship-focused
  • Comfortable setting boundaries and maintaining accountability
  • Interested in behavioral health, psychology, counseling, education, social work, or youth development
  • Looking for meaningful work that goes beyond a paycheck
  • A strong team player with good communication skills
  • Someone who believes every young person deserves a second chance

Don't have direct experience?

If you have the heart, dedication, and willingness to learn, we'd still love to hear from you.

For some youth, you may be the first adult who:

  • Truly listens
  • Refuses to give up on them
  • Teaches them healthy ways to manage emotions
  • Helps them build confidence
  • Shows them they are capable of more than they believed
  • Helps them see a future worth working toward

Years from now, they may not remember every rule, every schedule, or every conversation.

That person could be you.
