You'll help young people develop the tools they need to succeed while gaining real-world experience that can launch a career in behavioral health, counseling, education, social work, youth development, or leadership.
As a Youth Mentor, you will:
- Build meaningful relationships with young men
- Mentor and coach youth through real-life challenges
- Lead activities, games, fitness, recreation, and skill-building exercises
- Help youth strengthen confidence, emotional regulation, and decision-making skills
- Encourage accountability, responsibility, and personal growth
- Create safe, structured, and supportive environments
- Work alongside therapists, clinicians, and experienced leaders
- Celebrate progress and milestones, both big and small
