Purpose of Role
- Collaborate with the HR Manager and Global Compliance Coordinator to facilitate efficient HR operations, including employee induction, recruitment, compensation and benefits administration, and the management of staff records and the HRIS.
- Ensure that all HR policies comply with local and international regulations, while promoting a high-performance culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the employee lifecycle, including recruitment (sourcing, interviewing), onboarding/offboarding, payroll processing, MPF administration, tax reporting, and employee benefits (medical insurance), leave attendance records, performance management; prepare reports for management review and employee relations.
- Manage the online and offline recruitment process, arrange interviews, prepare employment contracts, and handle logistics from onboarding to offboarding, including verification of candidates' qualifications and reference checks.
- Manage overseas payroll through outsourced payroll vendors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and enhance the HR database and HRIS system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date personal records, job information, leave records, and related files.
- Collect relevant market information and coordinate with C&B vendors for compensation and benefits-related surveys to ensure market competitiveness.
- Using HRIS system data to prepare HR analytics and reports for management review, strategic planning, and group reporting purposes.
- Regularly review HR policies, practices, and procedures to ensure proper documentation, statutory compliance, and transparency across various employee groups.
- Provide effective coaching and support for teammates, fostering a positive learning environment and culture.
- Collaborate with teammates to organize company events (Annual Party, Christmas party etc), fostering a positive work environment and to promote employee engagement.
- Overseeing daily office operations, including vendor management, procurement of office supplies, facility management (repair and maintenance).
- Backing up Receptionist Role.
- Perform ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Skills / Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Independent, proactive, detail-minded, and capable of handling confidential information.
- Proficient in BambooHR and Google Workplace, with strong analytical skills for HR metrics and reporting is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective coaching and support to team members, fostering a culture of learning and development is desirable.
- Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of Hong Kong labor laws and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with international HR standards and compliance issues is advantage.
- Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR and administration, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Experience in preparing HR analytics and reports for strategic planning and management review is desirable.
- Languages
- Proficiency in English and Cantonese.
- Knowledge of Mandarin is advantage.
- Education / Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
