WHY YOU’LL LOVE WORKING HERE

  • A supportive, dynamic, and innovative team culture.

  • A chance to directly shape the voice and vision of one of the industry’s fastest-growing firms.

About the Role

As a Structural Engineer I, you’ll join our growing structural engineering team as an early-career engineer. Working under close supervision and mentorship, you’ll support the analysis and design of foundations, steel structures, and other structures for a diverse range of renewable energy projects (PV, BESS, HV).

  • Under the direction of senior engineers, perform structural analysis and design for foundations (driven piles, screw and helical piles, and cast-in-place concrete), overhead steel structures, building envelopes, and non-building structures.

  • Apply industry codes and standards — including ASCE 7, IBC, NESC, ASCE 113, IEEE 693, and NFPA — to assigned tasks with guidance.

  • Adhere to applicable Client, EPC, Owner, and Utility standards on all assigned work.

  • Support the development of structural drawings and details with designers and the civil design team, including inputs to foundation bills of material (BOMs).

  • Use engineering software (Excel and RISA; VBA and Python a plus) to complete and document calculations.

  • Perform self-checks, document work clearly, and build toward EIT/FE licensure.

  • A bachelor’s degree in structural, civil, or related engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

  • 0+ years of experience; internship or co-op experience a plus. EIT/FE optional but encouraged.

  • Foundational understanding of structural analysis and design principles.

  • Familiarity with structural analysis software (RISA or similar) and Excel; VBA and Python a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and ability to follow direction.
