Health Technician

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple Health Technicians to support the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (North Las Vegas VAMC) located at 6900 N Pecos Rd, North Las Vegas, NV 89086. Multiple shift schedules are available. • CPR/BLS capability.
• Safe Patient Handling experience.
• Ability to assist with patient transfers and mobility.
• Experience with clerical support and patient record systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to retrieve and document information in the Veteran electronic medical record.

• →Transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, medical bed, and other devices.
• →Assist with patient positioning and imaging procedures.
• →Respond to emergencies and perform CPR when indicated.
• →Serve as patient observer when needed.
• →Transport specimens and support patient care activities.
• →Maintain imaging department safety, cleanliness, and supplies.
• →Perform clerical duties, scheduling support, record management, and phone reception.
• →Enter patient data into computerized systems and support PACS workflows.
• →Support patients and families with guidance and assistance.

• Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
