The Global Marketplace team defines global distribution strategies, sets commercial frameworks, and enables regions to execute with consistency, discipline, and brand integrity to drive sustainable business expansion.
1) Global Retail Strategy & Standards – 30%
Owning the definition and global rollout of Veilance retail strategy, frameworks, and standards
- Defining the global retail vision, guiding principles, and store experience standards
- Establishing clear “what good looks like” benchmarks across all physical environments
- Leading global alignment and driving adoption across regions
- Acting as the primary point of accountability for retail consistency and execution quality
- Identifying strategic gaps and shaping retail roadmap, priorities, and improvements
2) Retail Experience & Store Environment Leadership – 25%
Leading how Veilance shows up across physical retail globally, ensuring premium execution and disciplined brand expression, with efficient, scalable delivery
- Defining the end-to-end in-store guest experience (hosting, service, journey flow)
- Guiding the retail expression across formats (standalone, shop-in-shop, pop-up)
- Partnering on spatial, fixture, and Visual Merchandising (VM) standards with Store Development and Global Standards teams
- Defining storytelling, product presentation, and system-based selling principles
- Aligning inventory strategy with presentation and selling (depth, flow, and availability) to support performance and experience
- Leading roadmap planning and key projects, aligning priorities across regions
- Manage budgets and drive cost-efficient delivery of retail initiatives
3) Retail Execution, Enablement & Tools – 25%
Enabling consistent, high-quality retail execution by partnering with regional teams to build capabilities and drive alignment
- Co-developing and deploying retail tools with regions to ensure relevance and adoption
- Enabling cross functional teams through targeted training and capability building
- Partnering with regions to elevate execution discipline, commercial acumen, and consistency
- Identifying capability gaps and operational friction to co-create solutions
- Simplifying processes and clarifying standards to unlock regional performance
- Driving cross-functional alignment to ensure cohesive execution across all retail touchpoints.
4) Retail Performance & Insights – 20%
Translating retail performance signals into actionable strategic direction
- Owning global visibility on retail performance, across key metrics such as productivity, conversion, sell-through, full-price mix, and retention
- Identifying risks, opportunities, and growth levers across store networks
- Translating insights into clear recommendations and action plans
- Partnering with Merchandising, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to inform decisions
- Balancing short-term performance with long-term brand equity and store experience quality
- You have 8+ years of experience in retail, commercial or marketplace roles within premium, luxury, or design-led brands, with 5+ years’ demonstrated experience leading teams and/or projects
- You have demonstrated experience defining strategy and driving adoption across complex, global, multi-region retail environments
- You have a proven ability to influence commercial performance indirectly through store experience, frameworks, and cross-functional alignment
- You demonstrate strong capability in leading cross-functional alignment and enabling execution across multiple teams, geographies, retail and corporate environments
- You are highly strategic while maintaining strong operational rigor, with the ability to translate vision into clear retail execution
- You have experience owning P&L within a project or a function
- You have an understanding of the end-to-end product processes
- You have experience with New Store Openings (NSOs)
- You have strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear direction, tools, and actions
- You are comfortable operating in ambiguity, complexity, and evolving retail environments, and can bring clarity and structure when needed
- You have a strong analytical mindset and are able to translate retail performance signals and guest behavior into clear recommendations and actions
- You are naturally collaborative, with a strong ability to influence stakeholders and lead through alignment rather than authority
