Fire & Security System Installer

Come aboard the ARK as a Fire & Security System Installer - COMMERCIAL

The Commercial Fire & Security System Installer is responsible for installing various electronic systems.

• →Installation of control panels, panel and system wiring, conduit and raceway and field device terminations.
• →Coordinating daily scheduling with the customer on-site.
• →Daily communication with project manager.
• →Maintaining drawings and/or schematics.
• →Perform troubleshooting as required
• →Conducts quality assurance.
• →Timely completion of associated documentation.
• →Basic panel programming and setup/ testing.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of alarm system requirements and the ability to interpret code books and handbooks.
• Able to utilize a laptop with system application software, etc.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work well with others

• COMMERCIAL Experience required
• Field electrical and/or electronic practical experience required.
• 3-5 years of related industry experience.
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to obtain Maryland and Virginia security technician license as required. Paid for by ARK.

• Physically able to climb overhead or crawl under spaces to complete jobs
• Must be willing to work at heights
• Must be able to operate electrical tools
• Must be able to differentiate color coding of cables
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
