About the Engineeering Department

The Engineering deparment at Ashesi University encompasses, Computer, Mechatronics, Mechanical and Electrical and Electronic engineering with the Biological Engineering being the newest program addition. We also offer a graduate course program in Mechatronics. Through its curricula and research, our fast-growing Engineering Department at Ashesi is helping deepen a culture of innovation, critical thinking, and hands-on learning on campus.

Our faculty are avid researchers in the areas of sustainable energy, IoT integration and mechatronics application in health and agriculture.  The Engineering Department seeks to educate ethical innovative leaders who have mastery of engineering deisgn and apply them to real life projects. 

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Engineering Lecturer to teach graduate and/or undergraduate courses in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer or Biological Engineering. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, a passion for teaching, and the ability to engage students of diverse backgrounds effectively. Apply now to join a dynamic academic team.

 
Qualification and Skills:

• A PhD in a relevant engineering field
• Teaching or industry experience is an advantage
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Experience with, and love of hands-on labs or projects
