ASI is a well-established, home services company looking for our next class of Plumbing Safety Inspection Trainees. This is a paid, hands-on training program built for people who are good with people, not necessarily people who already know plumbing. If you've got a knack for earning someone's trust, explaining things clearly, and consultative sales, we'll teach you the technical side from the ground up.
Paid training class starts August 31st 2026
This role is built around soft skills first, technical skills second. We're looking for people who:
- Communicate clearly and listen well. You ask good questions, you explain things in plain language, and you don't talk over people.
- Build trust fast. Homeowners are letting you into their house and trusting your judgment about their plumbing — you need to come across as honest and credible, not salesy.
- Are coachable. You don't already know everything (nobody expects you to), and you're genuinely excited to learn a real trade with long-term earning potential.
- Have some sales, customer service, or people-facing work history. Retail, restaurants, call centers, account management — if you've had to read a room and close a deal or smooth out a tough conversation, that experience translates here.
- Are comfortable being paid on performance. This role is hourly plus commission-based once you're fully trained, so we're looking for people who are motivated by what they can earn, not just a flat hourly check.
- Can handle a flexible, full schedule. Shifts can start as early as 6-7am, days run on appointment volume
- Valid CA driver's license
No plumbing license, certification, or prior plumbing experience required to apply.
