Accountant

Manage month-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of month-end close in compliance with regional & statutory requirements.

Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents and coordinate with auditors to ensure timely resolution of audit queries and requests.

Prepare and review GST/VAT workings, and support corporate tax, statutory filings, and regulatory submissions.

Work closely with all business functions on retail operations and ensure Finance compliance.

Drive continuous improvement in processes, controls and reporting efficiency.

Support Senior Finance Manager in system enhancement, finance transformation and ad-hoc projects.

Degree in Accounting, Finance or professional accounting qualification, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.

Experience in retail industry is highly preferred.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong collaboration and teamwork mindset.

Hands-on and meticulous individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

High proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel with hands-on experience in SAP accounting software.
