Lead II, Global Purchasing Process

As a Global Purchasing Process Lead, you will strengthen ASM’s global purchasing capabilities by shaping standards that support our long-term growth and operational excellence. You will work closely with global process owners, IT, and cross-functional teams to enhance SAP S/4HANA performance, drive harmonization, and elevate purchasing efficiency across regions. Your work will help ensure that our supply chain is resilient, data-driven, and ready for what’s next in the semiconductor industry.

• Oversee end-to-end purchasing processes in SAP S/4HANA (MM/PP), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strong process governance.
• Monitor and analyze purchasing KPIs such as OTD, PPV, lead time, and inventory health using SAP analytics and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Planning, Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to support seamless purchasing execution.
• Drive automation, harmonization, and operational excellence across global and regional SAP S/4HANA purchasing processes while balancing site-level needs.
• Partner with global process owners and IT to enhance SAP functionality, support upgrades, and enable continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, trade regulations, and audit requirements.
• Present insights, progress updates, and improvement recommendations in management and project forums.

• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain
• Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA MM with working knowledge of PP and SD modules.
• Knowledge in supply chain and procurement operations process
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across time zones and cultures.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with experience in fast-paced, high-mix environments.

• Experience leading global transformation initiatives in SAP S/4HANA procurement.
• Familiarity with advanced supply chain models and digital procurement tools.
• Experience with flexibility models such as Safety Stock, VMI, and consignment.
• Ability to influence and drive alignment in a global matrix structure.
• Strong presentation skills for sharing insights with leadership.
