The Handyman is responsible for performing a variety of maintenances, repairs, and installations tasks to keep the venue in good appearance and operational condition. This role requires problem-solving skills, knowledge of multiple trades, and the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality service. As a member of the facility’s Emergency Response Team, the technician participates in preparedness and recovery efforts for emergencies—whether natural, human-caused, or due to system failures affecting operations. Additionally, the technician will respond to service calls related to urgent events or operational needs.

The position does not involve managing or supervising other employees.

To successfully perform this job, an individual must be able to meet the following requirements.

• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
• Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

• Strong critical thinking and logical problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude toward continuous learning and skill improvement.
• Ability to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
• Strong prioritization and multitasking skills.
• Professionalism, ethical behavior, and adherence to company policies.
• Flexibility to work various schedules, including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, holidays, extended workdays, and multiple consecutive days as needed.
• Must be accessible for contact and available to respond to emergencies as required.
• Strong teamwork orientation.
• Ability to perform tasks related to other trades when necessary.
• Capability to work at heights and climb areas while carrying loads.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook).
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

• Valid Driver’s License.
