Responsibilities

→Prepares and/or contributes to all aspects of event accounting including settlements, event costs, flash reports, and journal entries

→Records all payroll entries to the general ledger including biweekly payroll and monthly accruals

→Prepares and records daily cash receipts to the general ledger

→Perform account analysis on both a facility and event level

→Record, review and reconcile cash receipts, encode A/R cash receipts, and maintain cash journals

→Prepares and performs bank and balance sheet account reconciliations

→Review A/P invoices in Bill.com

→Maintains general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue distribution, and operating expenses, and insurance records and reconciliations

→Verifies and checks the accuracy of general ledger coding

→Prepares and analyzes information for financial statements and reports

→Other duties as assigned

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance

Minimum of 3 years’ experience

Previous work experience in financial statement preparation, journal entries, and analysis of account balances

High aptitude of Microsoft Office, and accounting software

Intermediate Excel skills required, including the ability to build and/or understand reconciliations and accounting schedules from raw data using formulas such as INDEX/MATCH,XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and Pivot Tables

Excellent math skills; high aptitude for figures

Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and time management

Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information is required

Previous experience in live event or F&B accounting highly preferred

Previous experience with Sage and Bill.com highly preferred

CPA is preferred
