Job Description

The Senior Accounting Manager position will cover Accounting and Finance related duties for three Legends Global Clients in Richmond Va:

RPAC – Altria and Dominion Energy Centers

VCU – Siegel Center

Henrico County Sports Authority – Henrico County Sports Complex

The amount of time allocated to each client will vary based on need and set by The Director of Finance and the Senior Accounting Manager.

The range of duties is as follows:

1) Primary responsibility for accurate and timely monthly and annual financial reporting working with the accounting department personnel to ensure proper accounting controls and GAAP are in place

2) Coordinate annual audits with client external audits

3) Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems as necessary

4) Teach and mentor Accounting and Finance personnel in their accounting skills development

5) Develop strong working relationships with client counterparts

6) Develop detailed knowledge of industry specific financial structures such as event closings and show settlements

7) Participate with the DOF in developing forecast models and annual budgets for each location

8) Develop working relationships with management teams of each location and become a trusted financial advisor

9) Work with the DOF to develop “CFO” capabilities beyond accounting technical skills to build a well-rounded skill set necessary for career advancement

10) Serve as backup for DOF when necessary

11) Other duties as assigned.

Compensation-Salary 95K-115K
