ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics, LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Facilities Specialist to support a prime program at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. This is a part-time, temporary, on-call position.
Position Summary:
Primarily responsible for developing FOC SOP and training/development for staff as needed. at NASA Goddard for the ROME contract.
Position reports directly to the CPP/FOC Manager; functions independently with management direction and review.
Major Job Activities:
Developing FOC SOPs for:
Incident notifications,
emergency response procedures
Training on:
console systems and alarm monitoring
center-wide notifications
proper maintenance of logs and records.
proper operation of Metasys Energy Management Systems.
Works with minimal direct supervision.
Complies with applicable federal, state, NASA, GSFC, and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) environmental laws and regulations.
Material & Equipment Directly Used:
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Maryland 3rd Class Stationary Engineers license or associate degree in technical field
Minimum Qualifications:
Five (5) years’ experience in developing Emergency and trouble call procedures and response plans.
Training, managing, and supervising crew implementing the procedures and plans.
High school graduate or equivalent
U.S. Citizenship.
Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving Record.
Ability to solve problems and work independently or with minimal supervision in a team-oriented atmosphere.
Familiarity with facilities/infrastructure codes and standards, as applicable.
Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional & courteous manner in diverse situations.
Demonstrated working ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Specialized areas of performance:
Experience with Maximo or similar computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Experience with NCC/Siemens fire alarm systems.
