Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

• Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Current and valid BCBA certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Valid Texas Driver's license and safe driving record

• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis, function analysis and assessment, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills
• Ability to work with a variety of clients in regard to age, functionality with minimal direction
• Possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

• →Develop behavior plans and treatment plans for students as well as facilitate appropriate behavior strategies
• →Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments using evidence-based tools
• →Maintain compliance with relevant ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations (e.g., BACB Code of Ethics)
• →Provide ongoing support to direct support professionals, ABA implementers and other individuals in support roles for families
• →Assist in the development and implementation of assessment tools to conduct functional assessments and analysis when appropriate
• →Create/maintain a data collection system to establish baseline and programmatic efficacy for students; analyze data to implement best practices
• →Provide appropriate service to each student on the caseload
• →Establish open, frequent communication with parents and all related service staff
• →Make recommendations for the time needed to implement behavioral goals
• →Participate in appropriate staff meetings as requested
• →Establish and maintain a positive working atmosphere with staff in order to encourage a positive learning environment for students

• →Daily attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of the job

• →Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment
• →Strong family engagement and communication skills
