Position Overview Atlas Advisors is building a qualified candidate bench for Cleared American Guard and Construction Surveillance Technician positions supporting secure U.S. military facilities in Germany. These are separate positions with different duties and technical requirements. Applicants should identify whether they are applying for CAGS, CST, or both. Cleared American Guards Cleared American Guards provide fixed-site security and access control for classified or controlled facilities. Responsibilities may include: Control access by personnel, vehicles, materials, and equipment. Conduct personnel, vehicle, bag, and property inspections in accordance with site procedures. Monitor CCTV, alarms, intrusion-detection systems, and other physical-security systems. Maintain post logs, access rosters, key-control records, shift-change briefs, and incident reports. Respond to security, fire, medical, and other emergencies and coordinate with appropriate emergency services. Protect classified facilities, information, property, and materials from unauthorized access, vandalism, sabotage, espionage, or other threats. Work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime when required. Construction Surveillance Technicians Construction Surveillance Technicians protect classified facilities throughout construction and renovation. Responsibilities may include: Continuously monitor construction workers, including foreign-national personnel, on secure construction sites. Prevent the introduction of clandestine electronic, electrical, mechanical, or other surveillance devices. Inspect construction materials, tools, equipment, furnishings, vehicles, and work areas for tampering or unauthorized modification. Review blueprints and construction details to identify deviations, unexplained penetrations, concealed spaces, or other security concerns. Use or support portable X-ray systems, spectrum analyzers, Non-Linear Junction Detectors, and comparable inspection equipment. Maintain detailed daily logs, surveillance reports, incident records, and chain-of-custody documentation. Report suspected security violations immediately and coordinate corrective action with security and construction-management personnel. Position Specific Qualifications Relevant physical-security, force-protection, law-enforcement, military-security, construction-security, or comparable experience. For CST positions, experience with secure-facility construction, construction surveillance, construction trades, engineering, facilities maintenance, inspection, or blueprint review is strongly preferred. ICD 705 and SCIF construction experience are important CST differentiators. Formal ICD 705 training is preferred but is not required to apply. CST applicants must be able to work on active construction sites and stand or walk for extended periods. CAGS applicants must be able to perform shift work and respond appropriately during emergencies or security incidents. General Qualifications Requirements vary by labor category and position level. Candidates must possess: U.S. citizenship. An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Relevant education and experience for the applicable Junior, Journeyman, or Senior labor category. The ability to work full-time and on-site at the assigned OCONUS location. The ability to obtain and maintain applicable Status of Forces Agreement, Technical Representative, or other required overseas work authorization. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to support mission-driven priorities in classified or operational environments. The ability to travel, work shifts, or work outside normal duty hours when required by the position. Education and Experience The contract includes Junior, Journeyman, and Senior positions. Minimum education and experience requirements vary by labor category and may permit additional directly relevant experience in place of a degree. Candidates should clearly identify their highest degree and years of directly relevant experience. Overseas Assignment CAGS positions are based in Wiesbaden, Germany, and CST positions are based in Stuttgart, Germany. Work is performed full-time and on-site in classified, operational, secure-facility, construction-site, or military environments, depending on the position. Depending on the position, contract authorization, and individual eligibility, overseas support may include: Relocation assistance Household goods shipment Privately owned vehicle shipment Temporary quarters support Housing allowance Post allowance or cost-of-living allowance Education allowance for eligible dependents Authorized logistical privileges Family-accompanied assignment where permitted Specific overseas entitlements, travel requirements, work schedules, and family-accompaniment conditions will be confirmed for each opening.
