Security Managers and Special Security Officers

Atlas Advisors is building a qualified candidate bench for Security Manager and Special Security Officer positions supporting U.S. military security programs in Europe. Opportunities may exist at Junior, Journeyman, and Senior levels, depending on the labor category and mission requirement. Security Program Responsibilities Support personnel, information, physical, industrial, and special security programs. Assist with security policy, procedures, mission objectives, program reviews, and regulatory compliance. Verify clearance, access, and eligibility information using DISS, Scattered Castles, and other authorized systems. Develop and maintain Security Clearance Access Rosters, collateral rosters, badging records, and access-control documentation. Support SCIF and secure-area stand-up, administration, sustainment, inspection, accreditation, and compliance. Provide guidance on classified-document marking, safeguarding, storage, transmission, transfer, destruction, and accountability. Conduct or support security briefings, Security Assistance Visits, site visits, self-inspections, incident inquiries, and investigations. Maintain accountability for NATO, SAP, and other classified holdings as required. Support Security Awareness and Education Training Programs. Coordinate with Command Security Managers, Special Security Officers, security staffs, tenant units, and mission partners. Position Specific Qualifications Relevant experience in security management, personnel security, information security, physical security, SCIF management, or comparable Department of Defense security support. Experience supporting a Command Security Manager, Special Security Officer, personnel security office, G2 security office, or comparable security organization. Knowledge of DoD and U.S. Army security policies, clearance processes, access controls, classified-material accountability, and secure-area requirements. DISS training and practical experience with DISS, Scattered Castles, access rosters, and personnel-security actions are strongly preferred and may be required for specific openings. Experience with SCIF accreditation, open-storage environments, NATO security, SAP, STO, ACCM, lock and safe services, or security incident inquiries is desirable for applicable positions. General Qualifications Requirements vary by labor category and position level. Candidates must possess: U.S. citizenship. An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Relevant education and experience for the applicable Junior, Journeyman, or Senior labor category. The ability to work full-time and on-site at the assigned OCONUS location. The ability to obtain and maintain applicable Status of Forces Agreement, Technical Representative, or other required overseas work authorization. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to support mission-driven priorities in classified or operational environments. The ability to travel, work shifts, or work outside normal duty hours when required by the position. Education and Experience The contract includes Junior, Journeyman, and Senior positions. Minimum education and experience requirements vary by labor category and may permit additional directly relevant experience in place of a degree. Candidates should clearly identify their highest degree and years of directly relevant experience. Overseas Assignment Positions are based primarily in Germany and at other supported European mission locations. Work is performed full-time and on-site in classified, operational, secure-facility, construction-site, or military environments, depending on the position. Depending on the position, contract authorization, and individual eligibility, overseas support may include: Relocation assistance Household goods shipment Privately owned vehicle shipment Temporary quarters support Housing allowance Post allowance or cost-of-living allowance Education allowance for eligible dependents Authorized logistical privileges Family-accompanied assignment where permitted Specific overseas entitlements, travel requirements, work schedules, and family-accompaniment conditions will be confirmed for each opening.
