Responsibilities

→Solid understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures.
→Inspect and package parts according to specification pages and record required information on in-process sheets.
→Cuts, bundle, wrap, stack, pack, assemble and label materials per specific production instructions.
→Operate and maintain machinery such as, but not limited to all wire cutting, CNC cutting, hauling, conveyor systems, and wrapping equipment along with hi-lo operation and one person lifting equipment.
→Verify equipment set-up throughout the process; continuous operations, and power down of manufacturing equipment.
→Maintain productivity standards and verify all job requirements of the final products with the correct density, material, weight, size, and shape within given quality tolerance to meet specific job requirements
→Maintain a clean and organized work area.
→Knowledge of and ability to operate Pre-breakers / Re-Grinding equipment to recycle EPS.
→Perform any other functions and responsibilities as assigned.
→Must be trained and participate with Safety requirements, Quality Systems and Continuous Improvement activities.
→Reliable and predictable attendance is required.

Prior experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment.

Problem solving and critical thinking skills desired
Fluent in the English language, both written and spoken, preferred.
Must be able to use simple math, count and use basic hand-held measuring tools.
Knowledge of basic safety standards such as Lock Out Tag procedures
Knowledge of manufacturing and OSHA safety standards
Light to moderate physical effort required including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders, grasping, fine and course manipulation, reaching both forward and above head level, and tolerant of temperature changes for the entire shift.
Must be able to push, pull and/or lift up to 50 pounds; and safely operate assigned machinery.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
