Sourcing Coordinator

Attesa Coffee is a start-up specialty green coffee sourcing and distribution company headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands. We work directly with producers and coffee partners at origin to bring our customers (specialty coffee roasters) high-quality coffees safely, on time, and consistently through efficient digital frameworks.

We believe in traceability throughout the supply chain and are highly committed to transparency with all our stakeholders.

We are looking for a proactive, organised, and detail-oriented individual to join our team in India as a Sourcing Coordinator.

This role will focus primarily on supporting our coffee sourcing activities, working closely with producers and green coffee suppliers, conducting market research, coordinating sourcing information, and supporting the commercial and logistics processes around our coffees.

• →Manage Attesa Coffee’s sourcing operations - managing supplier relationships and transactions
• →Coordinate green coffee purchase transactions across Asia, Africa and other key origins
• →Conduct market research on coffee producers, origins, varieties, processing methods, and emerging sourcing opportunities.
• →Research coffee events, producers, and potential sourcing partners across key coffee-producing regions.
• →Communicate with the management and sales teams to understand coffee requirements and respond to specific sourcing requests.
• →Maintain accurate and up-to-date sourcing information across internal databases and digital platforms.
• →Assist in preparing offer lists, sourcing updates, and other commercial documents related to the coffee sourcing process.
• →Communicate with coffee providers to obtain information such as coffee information, pricing, farm information, farm pictures, etc. in an organized manner
• →Prepare and coordinate marketing and communication materials for external communication with partners.
• →Support the logistics team with transport and freight-related communication to help ensure shipments move smoothly and on time.
• →Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to follow up on coffee availability, documentation, samples, pricing, and shipment status.
• →Identify new sourcing opportunities and contribute ideas to strengthen Attesa Coffee’s sourcing network.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, Communications, International Business, or a related field.
• Working knowledge or experience in sourcing / buying / sales of coffee or other agricultural commodities
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and coordination skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow up proactively, and work with information from different sources.
• Strong research skills and the ability to identify and organise relevant market and supplier information.
• Comfortable working independently in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a resourceful approach to finding solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and internal teams.

• Prior experience in the green coffee industry
• Experience with CRM, sourcing, or other digital business tools.
• Strong curiosity about coffee, origins, markets, and the people behind the supply chain.
• Willingness to travel to coffee origins in the future.
