QAQC Inspector

Audubon is currently seeking a QAQC Inspector to join our team in our Houston, TX Energy Corridor Office. 

• →Implementation of Audubon Construction Solutions Quality Management System and overall quality performance
• →Manage the Quality Control and Assurance program for the project
• →Assist the Project Managers to set up, monitor, and maintain the Quality Management System project execution tools.
• →Assure proper Inspection Test Reports are implemented and fulfilled throughout duration for the project
• →Liaise with Supervision to ascertain and integrate quality management techniques that would benefit the project.
• →Assure compliance with Audubon Construction Solutions standards.
• →Interface with Corporate Management for technical support in Mechanical, Civil, Coating, Electrical and Structural documentation and other quality related practices and applications
• →Coordinates with Corporate Management for weld procedures and weld certifications and monitors weld program onsite
• →Monitor surveillance trends, NCRs, and subsequently surveillance testing activities for the project.
• →Communicate any non-conformance and defects that may impact requirements for design, safety assurance, construction, commissioning, maintenance, or operations
• →Maintain Inspection Test Plan for project activities and disciplines
• →Maintain the Audubon Stage-Gate Project Management Process.
• →Remain abreast of Industry “State of the Art” project management tools and practices.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities:

• →All employees are responsible for supporting Audubon Companies’ Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. This includes:
• →Performing duties in a manner that protects personal and team health and safety
• →Participating in required HSE training, meetings, and reporting activities
• →Identifying and reporting hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions
• →Following safe work practices and complying with applicable regulatory requirements

• CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) required.
• Multi discipline experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control
• 10+ years’ experience in construction company or related environment including 5 years’ management experience.
• Excellent speaking, writing, communication, and organizational skills; public speaking a plus.
• Prior technical writing and/or project leadership experience a plus.
• Computer literate and familiar with MS Office® software; SharePoint experience a plus.
• Computer literate in BlueBeam and NavisWorks
