Nursing Attendant

Responsible for maintaining infection control standards in relation to the environmental cleaning and disinfection in the perioperative between procedures, and patient care. Assists team in preparation and maintenance of perioperative area including but not limited to equipment, positioning/transfer, supplies, linen, and transport. May have access to areas where medications are stored and/or prepared for purposes of fulfilling job duties.

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• CNA
• Previous work experience in medical environment

• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Unit and annual competencies to be completed each year.
• Annual education required per hospital certification(s).
• HIPAA- confidentiality
