Aureol Global Connections is actively seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer specializing in High Voltage (HV) Substations to join our expert engineering team. In this position, you will be responsible for the design, development, operation, and maintenance of HV substation systems to ensure reliable and safe power distribution. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that meet client requirements and comply with industry standards and safety regulations. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to major infrastructure projects and expand your expertise in the field of high voltage electrical engineering.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and manage high voltage substation electrical systems and equipment.
  • Perform detailed engineering calculations, simulations, and studies related to HV substations.
  • Review and prepare technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulatory requirements for HV substations.
  • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities of HV substation equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to HV substation operations.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in HV substation technologies and industry best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in designing, operating, or managing high voltage substations.
  • Strong knowledge of HV substation equipment, protection systems, and control schemes.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., IEC, IEEE).
  • Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a dynamic project environment.
