Human Resources Advisor Sr. (Employee Relations - Fleet Mobility Services)

At the Austin Fleet Mobility Department, we’re proud to play a vital role in keeping our city moving forward. Managing more than 7,800 vehicles across 25 departments—including Fire, Police, EMS, Austin Energy, and Austin Water — we support the essential services that make Austin thrive, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Experience in a Human Resources role directly leading complex investigations into allegations of policy violation(s) and
handling grievances; - →Experience in a Human Resources role directly conducting formal investigations into allegations of discrimination, harassment,
retaliation, and other policy violations; - →Experience creating professional, well-drafted investigation plans and reports;
- →Experience in a Human Resources role directly handling Employee Relations matters as related to ADA, Leave Management,
Workers Compensation, Employment, Workers Compensation and complex workplace issues; - →Experience advising management on the progressive disciplinary process, including investigating policy violations, preparing
documentation, making recommendations and preparing disciplinary actions; - →Experience working as a strategic business partner in Employee Relations, ADA, Leave Management, Workers Compensation
at all levels of an organization and developing effective relationships with managers, supervisors, and other HR Partners to
identify and address employee relations issues; - →Ability to travel to more than one work location.
Pay Range: $72,220 - $94,790
DAYS AND HOURS:
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (flexible)
May be required to work evenings and weekends due to operational needs. Work schedule and location is subject to change based to meet
and support operational needs.
