~1 min readYou will lead a high-impact team of Product Managers dedicated to building and scaling Avalara-built connectors within a portfolio of flagship partner platforms like Microsoft, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Salesforce, Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, Stripe, and WooCommerce. As an AI Transformation Leader, you will set the direction for AI adoption and governance for your function, driving a strategy shift from personal execution to team-led excellence through AI-turbocharged onboarding and autonomous compliance experiences. You will help our partners and customers achieve global tax compliance with unprecedented speed and intelligence.

You will serve as the primary management system for your team, conducting high-frequency inspection and coaching to empower your PMs to operate with full autonomy. Your daily tasks involve building functional AI roadmaps and scaling repeatable operating rhythms that allow your team to navigate technical designs and partner dependencies independently. You will use tools like Jira, Slack, and AI-driven analysis to proactively identify operational risks and ensure every team deliverable meets our "Answer First" standard for executive clarity.
- Experience directly managing a team of at least 5 Product Managers in a SaaS or ERP integration environment.
- Professional expertise in flagship ecosystems (e.g., Microsoft, NetSuite, Salesforce) with a track record of delivering technical connector integrations.
- Demonstrated ability to distill technical complexity into decision-ready executive summaries (Ask → Context → Options → Recommendation).
- 4+ years of experience as an AI Transformation Leader with a proven history of building functional AI roadmaps and scaling AI adoption to improve business results.
- A verifiable history of meeting 100% of internal and external deadlines through autonomous delivery and proactive risk identification.
- Bachelor's degree in a business or technology-related field, or equivalent practical experience in financial technology.
