NCLEX Education Manager

The Clinical Education Department is responsible for the assessment and preparation of international healthcare professionals to practice in the United States. The department also serves ongoing educational and remediation needs for healthcare professionals at all stages of their employment with Avant.
The NCLEX Education Manager supports the delivery of NCLEX-RN preparation programming by coordinating candidate activities, monitoring progress, and providing structured support aligned with program standards. This role ensures consistent program execution, reinforces candidate readiness, and contributes to overall program effectiveness through data tracking, communication, and collaboration.
- Support day-to-day execution of the NCLEX preparation program, including scheduling, coordination, and candidate communication
- Conduct and/or support weekly webinar sessions, coaching clinics, and question-based review sessions to reinforce candidate learning
- Provide consistent, structured support aligned with program methodology
- Ensure the program effectively secures a minimum first-time NCLEX pass rate of 65-75%
- Conduct RN coaching calls as needed to assess students’ progress, recommend remediation, and trouble shoot issues
- Ensure Avant NCLEX curriculum content is aligned with the most current NCLEX-RN test plan
- Discuss practice questions with candidates individually or in group settings to reinforce comprehension
- Monitor candidate progress and readiness using established tools and score benchmarks
- Track testing timelines, participation, and readiness indicators
- Identify at-risk candidates based on defined criteria and escalate to senior team members as appropriate
- Update and track candidate progress, including key milestones, readiness indicators, and participation metrics
- Assist in compiling reports on candidate performance, trends, and engagement
- Ensure adherence to program processes, documentation standards, and compliance expectations
- Support development and execution of remediation plans under guidance
- Support continuous improvement efforts by providing observations and feedback on program delivery
- Identify potential risks or delays in candidate progress and escalate appropriately
- Other duties as assigned
This is a full-time position. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additional time outside of these hours may be needed to complete the essential functions of the job.
- A bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university which includes course work in nursing, education or administration required
- 3 years of experience, within the previous 7 years, as a registered nurse providing direct patient care or equivalent experience and/or education required
- Experience in teaching, training, or clinical education preferred
- Knowledge in adult learning principles, technological support and delivery of program area and services
- Experience with MS Office and database management to supply reports and projections
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
- Technical Skills: Intermediate ability to perform technical skills required for job role. This may include use of specific technology, knowledge of job-specific tasks and concepts, etc. Intermediate ability to supervise project workflows for the team. Intermediate ability to handle routine tasks and non-routine tasks; and handle tasks with high level of complexity with some guidance.

Requirements

- Valid, clear, and unrestrictive Nursing License for the State of Florida
