This team partners closely with business, technology, operations, and trading stakeholders to deliver critical enhancements across the derivatives trading lifecycle. The role sits at the intersection of project delivery, stakeholder management, Agile execution, and front office technology, with strong visibility into business-critical trading workflows.

Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)

This is a hybrid contract opportunity based in New York, NY, supporting front office technology deliverables for a derivatives-focused business group. The role offers exposure to capital markets stakeholders, trading workflows, Agile delivery, and cross-functional technology execution in a highly regulated financial services setting.

• Manage front office technology deliverables supporting derivatives trading workflows.
• Drive project planning, tracking, reporting, and execution within an Agile delivery environment.
• Use JIRA to manage project progress, risks, dependencies, milestones, and stakeholder updates.
• Partner with business, product, technology, and operations teams to keep delivery aligned with priorities.
• Translate front office needs into actionable project plans, delivery timelines, and execution updates.
• Manage stakeholder expectations across business and technology groups.
• Support full SDLC delivery, including requirements alignment, development coordination, testing readiness, release planning, and post-implementation follow-through.
• Help ensure technology deliverables support front-to-back trading flow, operational stability, and business priorities.

• 5 to 7 years of project management experience, ideally within financial services or capital markets technology.
• Must have prior experience working directly in a sell-side front office environment.
• Strong understanding of derivatives trading workflows, front-to-back trade flow, and related technology delivery.
• Experience working in Agile environments with strong hands-on JIRA usage for tracking, reporting, and project execution.
• Strong SDLC knowledge, including requirements, development, testing, release, and technology operations.
• Background as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or technically strong Project Manager is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations across business and technology teams.
• Strong organizational skills, follow-through, and comfort working in a fast-paced trading technology environment.
