The role will support initiatives that require coordination across business, IT, operations, subject matter experts, and executive stakeholders.

This is a hybrid opportunity based in Jersey City, NJ, supporting a senior-level project management function within a financial services organization. The role offers exposure to cross-functional business and technology initiatives, executive communication, functional requirements management, testing coordination, rollout planning, and change management.

• Lead business-focused projects from planning through delivery, ensuring scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are clearly defined and managed.
• Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, operations groups, and subject matter experts to translate business needs into actionable project plans.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, budgets, risks, issues, and status reporting.
• Drive stakeholder alignment through clear communication, escalation management, and executive-level updates.
• Ensure functional requirements are understood, documented, validated, and delivered in partnership with business analysts and SMEs.
• Oversee project rollout activities, including testing coordination, training support, change management, and adoption readiness.

• 10+ years of project management experience, ideally supporting business-side, functional, or technology-enabled initiatives.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects involving business stakeholders, IT, operations, and executive sponsors.
• Strong understanding of business processes, workflows, functional system requirements, and project delivery lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, risk management, and issue-resolution skills.
• Experience coordinating testing, training, implementation planning, and change management activities.
• PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
• Financial services, banking, or enterprise corporate project experience is strongly preferred.
