Known for driving data-driven decision-making, the environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and deeply invested in leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as Databricks, Spark, and Lakehouse frameworks. This role contributes directly to building enterprise-grade data foundations that power critical insights across the business.

- Exposure to cross-functional teams spanning data engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders
- Opportunity to influence enterprise-level data modeling standards and best practices
- Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives
- Translate business requirements into scalable, high-performance data structures for advanced analytics
- Partner with data engineers to integrate and harmonize data across multiple sources
- Build and optimize database schemas using medallion architecture, including relational, star schema, and denormalized models
- Establish strong data governance practices through metadata management, lineage tracking, and data quality frameworks
- Implement master data modeling strategies to ensure a single source of truth across key business entities
- Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and efficient query execution
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity in data usage and capabilities
- Continuously enhance data modeling approaches based on evolving technologies and business needs
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in data modeling within a Lakehouse or modern analytics environment
- Strong experience in the insurance domain (P&C, Life, or Healthcare)
- Proficiency with data modeling tools such as ER Studio
- Deep knowledge of Databricks Delta tables and Postgres databases
- Expertise in SQL and DDL development
- Hands-on experience with big data platforms (Databricks, Spark, AWS, Azure)
- Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities
