Summary
Axis is looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager to work closely with Key Account Managers to promote and support the sale of Axis Communications products and solutions within strategic end customer accounts. You will be part of a team responsible for developing end customer relationships, supporting long-term business initiatives, and helping grow Axis’s presence within assigned accounts. This role will support account planning, relationship development, opportunity growth, standardization initiatives, and cross-functional coordination across internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be located within reasonable driving distance to one of Axis offices in Irvine, CA, San Jose, CA, or Phoenix, AZ.

Work closely with Key Account Managers (KAMs) and end customer stakeholders to cultivate and strengthen business relationships and opportunity growth

Participate in internal and external customer meetings to support account strategy, business development initiatives, and long-term growth planning

Investigate and analyze customer needs to evaluate available options and customized solutions

Support standardization efforts by assisting with approved model lists, pricing strategies, product recommendations, and account planning activities

Research end customer organizations to identify growth opportunities, organizational changes, and additional points of contact within assigned accounts

Work collaboratively with SDRs, Operations, Technical Services, Marketing, regional sales teams, and HQ teams to support strategic account initiatives

Analyze and respond to sales leads and opportunities relevant within assigned accounts, helping position Axis as a preferred solution across departments and stakeholders

Support customer engagement activities related to product updates, cybersecurity initiatives, demonstrations, testing, evaluations, and project rollouts

Write and maintain documentation related to assigned accounts including meeting notes, account plans, approved model lists, loan requests, project details, and pricing strategies

Maintain accurate documentation of product configurations, specifications, forecasts, and project-related information relevant to assigned accounts

Review and analyze sales reports, dashboards, and account activity to support business planning and opportunity development

Work with Operations and internal teams to forecast and plan for large projects to ensure timely delivery and account support

Assemble necessary weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reporting as required

Perform other related duties as assigned
Ability to make decisions independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and strategic thinking abilities
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills across multiple stakeholder groups
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM/sales reporting tools
Self-motivated with strong follow-through and accountability
Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, operations, technical, and marketing teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Solid technical aptitude including a general understanding of networking infrastructure and enterprise technology environments
Resourceful and adaptable in a dynamic sales environment
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related area
3+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, business development, project coordination, or related roles supporting customer relationships and strategic business initiatives
Experience working in technical sales or solution-based selling environments

Travel up to 30% annually.
$80,000 - $90,000 OTE (based on education, experience and location).
