As a Senior Well Intervention Engineer, you will develop and evaluate well intervention opportunities from concept development through execution and performance evaluation. You will apply your experience across intervention design, operational execution, and production or integrity monitoring to identify fit-for-purpose solutions that deliver measurable field value. Working closely with reservoir, production, completions, and integrity specialists, you will help customers maximize recovery, improve well performance, and support long-term asset management objectives.
- Defining intervention strategies for mature wells, including rigless interventions, workovers, recompletions, stimulation, cleanout, water shutoff, integrity remediation, and abandonment preparation activities.
- Selecting and evaluating downhole tools, technologies, deployment methods, and operational approaches to address production, injectivity, access, and integrity challenges.
- Integrating reservoir, production, well integrity, completion, facilities, logistics, HSE, and commercial requirements into practical intervention solutions.
- Applying field execution experience to intervention planning, operational readiness, post-job evaluation, and production or integrity performance assessment.
- Defining intervention sequences, resource requirements, pressure control philosophies, rig or rigless assumptions, logistics plans, cost drivers, and schedule considerations.
- Quantifying production restoration opportunities, injectivity improvements, integrity risk reduction, and abandonment readiness to support investment and proposal decisions.
- Reviewing intervention scopes to ensure technical assumptions are realistic, executable, and aligned with field development objectives.
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to intervention engineering teams while supporting customer discussions and proposal development.
- Strong expertise in well intervention, workover, and well integrity operations.
- Deep understanding of downhole tools, intervention technologies, and deployment methods.
- Knowledge of pressure control systems, well access constraints, and abandonment practices.
- Ability to evaluate technical, operational, and commercial drivers to develop value-based solutions.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and customer engagement skills.
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Have Extensive experience in well interventions, completions, workovers, well integrity, and mature field production restoration activities.
- Have extensive knowledge of downhole tools, intervention methodologies, pressure control systems, well access techniques, and abandonment-related practices.
- Have experience supporting projects from opportunity identification and design through execution, post-job evaluation, and performance monitoring.
- Have the ability to develop and defend intervention-led value propositions and execution strategies with customers and senior stakeholders.
- Have strong understanding of operational risk management, HSE requirements, logistics planning, and intervention economics.
- Have experience working within multidisciplinary teams across reservoir, production, wells, integrity, and operations functions.
