We are seeking an experienced SAP Integration Specialist to join our team and play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting integration solutions across SAP and Baker Hughes developed enterprise software solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of business processes and technology, translating operational requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable integration solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, developers, architects, and external vendors to deliver integration capabilities that support critical business operations.
While the primary focus is SAP integration, experience with Enterprise Asset Management and SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) processes will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support integrations between SAP and other enterprise applications.
- Translate business requirements into effective integration and solution designs.
- Work with modern integration technologies, APIs, middleware, and SAP integration platforms.
- Support the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing integration solutions.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet operational needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across complex application landscapes.
- Participate in solution design reviews, governance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain technical documentation, integration standards, and support processes.
You are a technically capable and business-focused professional who understands how enterprise systems interact and can effectively bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.
You will bring:
- Strong experience delivering SAP integration solutions in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience working with technologies such as SAP Integration Suite (CPI), APIs, web services, middleware, and SAP integration frameworks.
- Knowledge of integration concepts including real-time, batch, event-driven, and API-based architectures.
- Understanding of authentication, security, and integration governance practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- The ability to work across technical and functional teams to deliver business outcomes.
The following experience will be highly regarded:
- SAP Plant Maintenance (PM)
- SAP Materials Management (MM)
- Experience with SAP BAPIs, IDocs, REST APIs, OData, and web services
- Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems and Data Warehouse solutions
- Knowledge of maintenance, reliability, asset management, or operational business processes
Requirements
~1 min read- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
- 10+ years hands-on experience with SAP, Maximo or other EAM or CMMS system.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP technology and tools
- Expert knowledge of SAP Master Data, specifically the PM Module
- Proven experience in designing and implementing integration solutions
- Experience with relational databases (any vendor).
- Solid understanding of data modeling best practices.
- Working knowledge of Agile Software development methodology.
- Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical ability, judgment and problem analysis techniques.
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross functional team.
