Statutory Lead

Our Global Finance Operations Team provides support for the business for technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.

As a statutory lead, you are responsible to driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate and compliant statutory financial statements. This role is essential to ensure financial compliance and optimizing the efficiency of the statutory process.

Key responsibilities include

• Develop and coach a diverse team, ensuring continuous learning, individual and team development.
• Collaborate within the team and contribute to shared goals and proactively supporting the execution of priorities and strategic initiatives in ensuring team’s priorities are achieved.
• Managing the execution of compliant and efficient statutory financial audits
• Evaluating, maintaining and improving the efficiency of financial and statutory accounting processes
• Reviewing statutory financial statements and audit pack for accuracy and compliance with local statutory accounting standards and regulations
• Executing on audit requests by working closely with functional team, operations, tax, legal, company secretary and finance
• Investigating any audit issue to allow resolution with supporting documentation
• Monitoring analytical support, and variance analysis for S2G Walk

• To be successful in this role you will:
• Strong statutory and financial reporting experience, including audit coordination and compliance.
• Solid capability in financial analysis and analytical review.
• Proven skill in producing accurate, timely management reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting plus ACCA, CA, or CPA qualification.
• 5–8 years’ experience, either with 2–5 years in people leadership or equivalent technical depth as an individual contributor.
• Good communication skills in English
