Lead Python Engineer

Schedule: 1 FTE (40 hours per week) 

Contract: Until December 31st, 2026, with a high possibility of extension

Our client is one of the largest financial institutions in the Nordic region, supporting tens of thousands of end users across a complex enterprise environment. We're currently looking for an Experienced Python Developer to lead technical delivery within the Partnership Domain Exit Program.

You'll play a key role in providing architectural guidance and hands-on development across Python, SQL, cloud platforms, and data integration components. You will act as a senior technical advisor, identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities for simplification during migration activities, working with limited supervision alongside an international team.

• Lead the delivery of technical solutions within the Partnership Domain Exit Program.
• Provide architectural guidance and hands-on development across Python, SQL, cloud platforms, and data integration components.
• Act as a senior technical advisor, identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities for simplification during migration activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across a large international IT organization.
• Support ETL/ELT and data integration work as part of migration activities.
• Apply DevOps, automation, and CI/CD best practices throughout development.

• 10+ years of experience in Python development.
• Advanced SQL and database knowledge.
• Experience with modern cloud-based data platforms.
• ETL/ELT and data integration experience.
• Familiarity with DevOps, automation, and CI/CD practices.
• The ability to work as a senior engineer, driving technical solutions with limited supervision.
