Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet guests upon their arrival, offering a friendly smile and a personalized and memorable first impression. 
  • Manage the seating and reservation system efficiently, ensuring accurate seating arrangements and timely table turnovers.
  • Effectively communicate with guests to understand their seating preferences, special requests, and any specific needs.
  • Provide accurate wait time estimates and maintain an organized list during peak hours. 
  • Collaborated closely with the server team to coordinate seating and ensure a smooth flow of guests throughout the restaurant. 
  • Maintain a clean and organized host area, including tidying up tables, managing coat check, and keeping the entrance welcoming and presentable. 
  • Monitor the dining room are to ensure all guests are attended to promptly and any potential issues are addressed proactively. 
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and escalate issues to management when necessary. 
  • Collaborate effectively with other hosts and team members to ensure seamless transitions between shifts and effective communication. 
  • Willingness to come early to shift to attend all Pre-shifts.

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing excellent hospitality.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs. 
  • Basic computer skills to manage reservation systems and communicate effectively. 
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and move around the restaurant to assist guests.
