BUMCP Perianesthesia is an outpatient and inpatient procedural department that cares for a diverse patient population ranging in age from 16 to Geriatric, with a variety of procedures being performed. Surgeries performed in the OR include but are not limited to: General, Robotics, GYN, Laparoscopic cases, ENT, Plastics, Podiatry, Urology, Orthopedic, OMFS, Neuro, Cardiovascular, and Trauma. This position cares for patients in the preoperative and postoperative settings, and recovers patients from other procedural areas, including MRI, Special Procedures, Endoscopy, and Cardiac Cath Lab.
