Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly, skilled trades, technical, and professional positions.
- →Lead high volume recruiting efforts for specialized machinist positions including CNC machinists, setup technicians, programmers, toolmakers, and other precision manufacturing roles.
- →Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, workforce planning, and job requirements.
- →Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, trade schools, employee referrals, networking, and community partnerships.
- →Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, coordinate onsite interviews, and manage candidate communications throughout the hiring process.
- →Maintain and track candidate activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- →Build and maintain talent pipelines for hard to fill manufacturing and machining positions.
- →Coordinate recruiting events, job fairs, and outreach initiatives targeting skilled manufacturing talent.
- →Ensure a positive candidate experience and promote the SPECTRIX employer brand.
- →Collaborate with HR and operations teams to support onboarding and hiring compliance activities.
- →Monitor recruiting metrics including time to fill, candidate flow, and hiring effectiveness.
- →Stay informed on labor market trends and competitive hiring practices within manufacturing and machining industries.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience considered.
- 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or skilled trades environments.
- Experience recruiting high-volume and hard to fill machinist or technical manufacturing positions strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of CNC machining, manufacturing terminology, and skilled trades recruiting strategies is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple open requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, or similar tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to evaluate technical resumes and manufacturing skill sets.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and follow through.
- Comfortable working with production leadership and plant operations teams.
- Office and manufacturing plant environment.
- May require occasional travel to recruiting events, technical schools, or other company facilities.
