The Microsoft Developer will support Barrow Wise's Illinois State Retirement System project and perform the following duties:

• →Migrate the legacy mainframe platform to a modernized Microsoft Platform
• →Implement a new solution to reduce the number of platforms
• →Support existing pension system modules
• →Sync data from the legacy system to the new system
• →Design, develop, unit test, debug, integration test, and implement C# applications
• →Configure SQL Server, including stored procedures and general RDBMS concepts
• →Utilize Component One UI software, Aspose, and Syncfusion UI
• →Perform peer code reviews
• →Display knowledge of object-oriented design and architecture
• →Utilize Visual Studio, Azure Dev Ops, and Entity Framework
• →Utilize Agile software development methodology
• →Experience Developing and Implementing Pension Systems
• →Work remotely

An ideal candidate has the following:

• →U.S. Citizenship
• →Bachelor's degree in a related field
• →Five years of experience in Microsoft development for a Retirement/Pension System
• →Demonstrated ability to collaborate with users to fully understand user needs to deliver a complete solution
• →Demonstrated experience with GIT
• →Demonstrated experience with Web APIs
