Responsibilities

As a BAYADA Home Health Aide, you'll provide compassionate one-on-one care based on a written plan of care under the direction of a registered nurse.

Your responsibilities may include:

→Bathing, grooming, and toileting
→Dressing and personal hygiene
→Meal preparation and feeding
→Medication reminders
→Light housekeeping and laundry
→Bed making and other household tasks
→Assistance with ambulation and transfers
→Range-of-motion exercises
→Vital sign checks
→Companionship and emotional support
→Helping clients maintain their independence at home

We’re looking for caregivers who are:

Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful
Passionate about helping others
Committed to providing quality care
Able to travel to clients' homes as assigned
Comfortable working independently with clients

Candidates applying for HHA/CHHA positions should have:

A current CHHA/HHA credential in good standing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing
Previous caregiving or home health experience, when required for the position
